Today, I did something that represents one of the most painful things I've had to do in a really long time.
I decided to take a page from my life, when I lost my Dad, and verbally share some lessons as well as a really profound experience I had during his wake.
In the past, I've always written about it here but today, I thought I'd grow some balls and talk about it.
I promise you that I don't go over the top with the sadness thing, but I won't guarantee that you won't need a tissue or two.
There are few lessons in this story . . . I hope you'll allow me to share them with you!

I talk about a major failure I experienced when I first started Castain Training Systems back in 2011! It was a setback that humiliated me and made me second guess my ability to do this for a living! Then I take you step, by step through how I turned this setback into a MASSIVE success!
The best part (aside from learning from mistakes) is that the steps I share are easily applied to any setback, lost business, a rut etc even things you are experiencing in your personal life.
You're going to want to pull the car over for this one and take lots of notes because I hold nothing back!
One warning, I was being extremely frank in this podcast and my language got a little colorful at times. Missed Opportunity?
Tell a group of sales professionals that referrals are crucial and you get a wave of eye rolls and a roar of “Duhs!”
Ask them if they’re actually asking for referrals and suddenly everyone breaks eye contact!
We all know we should be asking for referrals but sadly most of us don’t.
Why?
Here’s What A Group Of Sales Reps Told Me Recently
“It feels weird”
“It makes the conversation get weird”
“I feel like it’s too salesy”
“I feel like I’m begging them for something”
“It never seems like the right time”
